Friedisms

In the vein of Fake Steve Jobs, we now have a Fake Jason Fried1:

I don’t care where my employees work from. Or how they work. I don’t care where they live or eat or about any of their hobbies. I only care that they get stuff done. I also don’t care about gender. I don’t care about highways or bridges. Employees who use bridges have learned not to talk about bridges with me. I don’t care.

I can only dream of one day being likably idiosyncratic enough to inspire a Fake Allen Pike.

    The joke is that this is actually the fake Allen Pike. I don’t think the real one ever has any time to blog.

    That. Is. Awesome. Reading Fake Allen Pike, it seems like it exactly could have been written by me. Is that how Steve Jobs feels when he reads Fake Steve Jobs? Does Fake Allen Pike seem like a funny caricature to other people?

    What I’d like to see is more sarcastic exaggeration. For example, today’s Friedism:

    “Meetings are a waste of time. I don’t meet with anyone about anything. Any time more than two people try to talk to me at the same time I walk away.”

    Of course, that’s because Jason Fried has strong opinions that are easily mockable. I’m really much to polite and professonal to be treated in that way – it’s because I’m too busy to develop a real online persona.

    I prefer not to take a strong stance on news- I just like to let the world know that… it happened.
